Liability and Website Content
The content on our website was produced with the greatest of care. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of the content. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on this site in accordance with the general legislation under § 6 subsection 1 MDStV (Interstate Agreement on Media Services) and § 8 subsection 1 TDG (Teleservices Act). Service providers however are not obliged to monitor the third-party data which they transmit or retain or to investigate circumstances which might indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of data in accordance with the general legislation remains unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect may be assumed only from the moment the company is notified of a specific infringement. Upon being informed of such violations we will immediately remove the content.
GET AHEAD will ensure that personal information will only be retained in accordance with legal provisions. This includes but is not limited to: the date of access, the page visited or file accessed, the browser used and the IP address of the user. The remaining data will not be used to identify the user. Subsequent processing or evaluation of other data will only occur anonymously, for example, for statistical purposes, in order to resolve technical errors or to investigate instances of attempted hacking. The statistical purposes may also include a so-called ‘clickstream analysis’, which allows GET AHEAD to investigate user behaviour on our webpages.
Personal data will not be transmitted, that is, handed on to third-parties, with the exception of data which is requested by authorised government bodies or law enforcement agencies in the case of misuse of website material.
Liability for Links
Our web presence contains links to external, third-party websites, over whose content we have no control. Therefore, we cannot take any responsibility for this external content. The operators or providers of these sites are entirely responsible for their content. When we created these links, the sites were checked for possible legal violations. At that time, we were unable to identify any violations. However, permanent checking of the linked pages in terms of content is not feasible without specific evidence indicating a legal infringement. Upon notification of legal infringements we will immediately remove the links.
The operators of this site have made appropriate efforts to respect the copyright of others, and have used work that they have produced themselves or which is in the public domain. The content and works produced by the operators of this site are protected by German copyright law. Contributions made by third-parties are indicated as such. Copying, processing, distributing or any kind of commercial use beyond the confines of this copyright require written permission from the respective authors or creators. Downloads from, and copies of, this site are only permitted for private use. Commercial use is not permitted.
In accordance with § 34 and § 35 of the German Data Protection Act, as a user, you have the right to request information at any time about the data relating to you that we have saved, and the purpose of its retention. Additionally, you may inform us of incorrect information or request that data be deleted which has been illegally retained or is no longer necessary.
