A successful digital transformation requires ambitious thinking. In Florian Crefeld’s opinion, the new demands of the deep-tech age are going to transform classical organisation structures. As a consultant, Crefeld combines hands-on IT experience with knowledge of personnel selection. These are the matters on which he advises clients, placing qualified experts and middle and upper management positions through headhunting and executive search methods, and via his personal network.
Even before he had finished his studies in business management, Crefeld had begun his professional work in the IT department of a large automotive supplier. He then moved to one of the leading financial services firms in Germany to work in personnel management. After that he worked as an adviser with a well-respected, specialised HR consultancy, placing specialists and leadership talent in the fields of IT and digital transformation, as well as making cross-functional placements for digital businesses.
Crefeld is a member of the Economic Council and of the Digital Analytics Association. He is very interested in the digitisation of businesses and in the further development of the digital marketplace, and often gives talks on digital transformation at trade fairs and conventions. In the summer months he spends much of his time on the water, surfing and diving. In winter he prefers the mountains.
